Type of heat transfer;
- Conduction
- Convection
- Radiation
Conduction is the transfer of heat between object that are in direct contact with each other.
Convection is the transfer of heat by movement of a heated fluid and occurs into a fluid or within a fluid, and cannot happen in solids.
Radiation is the transfer of heat energy through empty space. No medium is necessary; radiation works even in and through a perfect vacuum.
